Easton CT Housing and Real Estate Market Report Week of 2/11/14

The market is continuing to improve in town- inventory is relatively stable with the last few weeks, and there are now 76 actively listed homes on the market. These homes have been  available an average of 138 days, and have  a *cumulative market time of 233 days. These properties are listed at an average price of $1,007,855, and the median price in Easton is currently at $836,750. The highest available listed home price is $3,595,000 and the lowest price is $159,900.

Seven new listings came on the market this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit. Five properties had a price change. Two properties have gone under the initial deposit stage, (which we call CTS) and one home went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied) and was listed at $709,000.

TOWNWIDE DEPOSITS: There are eight properties in CTS status, and seven properties in pending status that are scheduled to close, with an average list price of $529,057.

CLOSINGS: One property was  reported as sold this past week, and was listed  at $539,900. There were 18 status changes in the last week.
