Easton CT Real Estate Market Update Week of April 24, 2012

EASTON CT HOMES:  Easton's real estate market is picking up!  There are now 98 homes that are actively on the market, and inventory is up from last week. We'll continue to  keep a close eye on it.

The 98 homes that are on the market have been available an average of 105 days and are listed at an average price of $813,243. The median price in Easton is now $662,000. The highest available listed home price is $2,000,000 and the lowest price is $278,800.

Nine new listings came on the market this week, and one home came back on the market after being under deposit. Four properties had a price change .One property has gone under the initial deposit stage, and six homes went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied).

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are11 properties scheduled to close, and their average price is $683,227.

CLOSINGS: Two properties were reported as sold this past week, and were listed  on average at $497,000. There were 21 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price of the eight homes available is $2,475 per month. These homes are listed at an average price of $3,268 per month, and have been on the market approximately 76 days.
