Trumbull CT Real Estate Market Report Week of April 17, 2012

TRUMBULL CT HOMES: As of this morning, there are 212 homes that are actively on the market. Their average market time is 87 days and they are listed at an average price of $430,326. The median list price in Trumbull is $349,949. The highest priced home in town is listed at $1,099,000 and the lowest priced home is available at $179,900.

This week, we saw twelve new listings come on the market. No homes  came back on the market after being under deposit. There were fourteen properties that had a price change. There were nine properties that went under the initial deposit stage, which we call CTS, and thirteen properties went into Pending status, which means that the conditions have been satisfied, and the property is scheduled to close. Their average list price was $419,154.

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are 54 properties scheduled to close, and their average price is $401,298.

CLOSINGS: There were five properties that were reported as sold in this past week, The average list price was $417,560 and their average time on the market was 43 days. There were 62 status changes in the last week.

TRUMBULL CT CONDOS: The median price of the 26 condominiums that are available in Trumbull is $339,900. These homes have been listed an average of82 days, and have an average price of $371,319. The highest priced condo in Trumbull is listed at $579,900. The lowest priced home is $119,900.

One new listing came on the market this week, and no homes  came back on the market after being under deposit. Two condominiums had a price change. In the last week, two condominiums went into CTS status, and no properties went into pending status.

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are five properties scheduled to close and their average listing price is $344,740.

CLOSINGS: There were two closings reported in the last week, adn their average list price was $488,500.  There were eight status changes.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, there are 16 homes or apartments available, and they are listed at average price of $2,211 per month. These homes have been on the market approximately 40 days. The median price for a rental is $2,000 per month.

TRUMBULL CT HOMES: Trumbull's market is still good, although this past week's overall activity dropped considerably. As of this morning, there are 211 homes that are actively on the market. Their average market time is 90 days and they are listed at an average price of $421,843. The median list price in Trumbull is $349,900. The highest priced home in town is listed at $1,100,000 and the lowest priced home is available at $179,900.

This week, we saw thirteen new listings come on the market. Two homes  came back on the market after being under deposit. There were six properties that had a price change. There were seven properties that went under the initial deposit stage, which we call CTS, and five properties went into Pending status, which means that the conditions have been satisfied, and the property is scheduled to close. Their average list price was $300,960.

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are 46 properties scheduled to close, and their average price is $401,921.

CLOSINGS: There were seven properties that were reported as sold in this past week, The average list price was $377,971 and their average time on the market was 76 days. There were 46 status changes in the last week.

TRUMBULL CT CONDOS: The median price of the 24 condominiums that are available in Trumbull is $339,900. These homes have been listed an average of82 days, and have an average price of $374,558. The highest priced condo in Trumbull is listed at $579,900. The lowest priced home is $179,900.

No new listings came on the market this week, and no homes  came back on the market after being under deposit. Two condominiums had a price change. In the last week, three condominiums went into CTS status, and two properties went into pending status, and theri average list price was $309,950.

The highest priced home in town is listed at $1,100,000 and the lowest priced home is available at $175,000.

There were twenty-six single family home sales reported through the Greater Fairfield County Multiple Listing System in the town of Trumbull during the month of March, 2012.


The average sales price was $384,888 and the average market time was 68 days.


Total closed Sales Volume for the month of  March 2012 was $10,007,100


There were two condominium home sales reported through the Greater Fairfield County Multiple Listing System in the town of Trumbull during the month of March, 2012.


The average sales price was $312,500 and the average market time was 145 days.


Total closed Sales Volume for the month of March 2012 was $625,000.

The highest priced home in town is listed at $1,100,000 and the lowest priced home is available at $175,000.

This week, we saw eight new listings come on the market. No homes  came back on the market after being under deposit. There were fifteen properties that had a price change. There were thirteen properties that went under the initial deposit stage, which we call CTS, and ten properties went into Pending status, which means that the conditions have been satisfied, and the property is scheduled to close. Their average list price was $444,660.

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are 53 properties scheduled to close, and their average price is $399,245.

CLOSINGS: There were seven properties that were reported as sold in this past week, The average list price was $446,071 and their average time on the market was 69 days. There were 57 status changes in the last week.
