Easton CT Real Estate Report Week of February 14, 2012

EASTON CT HOMES: There are 82 homes that are actively on the market, and you should expect an increase in inventory for the weeks ahead. These homes have been available an average of 161 days and are listed at an average price of $825,240. The median price in Easton is now $649,700. The highest available listed home price is $2,290,000 and the lowest price is $278,800

Two new listings came on the market this week, and one home came back on the market after being under deposit. One property had a price change. One property has gone under the initial deposit stage, and one home went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied).

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are five properties scheduled to close, and their average price is $622,560.

CLOSINGS: Two properties were reported as sold this past week, and were listed on average at $674,500 with an average market time of 166 days. There were 14 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price of the ten homes available is $2,550 per month. These homes are listed at an average price of $3,140 per month, and have been on the market approximately 69 days.

The highest available listed home price is $2,290,000 and the lowest price is $278,800

Five new listings came on the market this week, and one home came back on the market after being under deposit. No properties had a price change. Two properties have gone under the initial deposit stage, and one home went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied).

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are seven properties scheduled to close, and their average price is $630,257.

CLOSINGS: One property was reported as sold this past week, and it was listed at $369,900. There were 16 status changes in the last week.

There were four single family home sales reported through the Greater Fairfield County Multiple Listing System in the town of Easton during the month of January, 2012.

The average sales price was $510,975 and the average market time was 129 days. Total closed Sales Volume for the month of January 20112 was $1,980,000
