Easton CT Real Estate Market Update Week of March 20, 2012

EASTON CT HOMES:  The most activity we've had for quite some time in Easton has occurred during the last few weeks. There are 84 homes that are actively on the market, and inventory is down just about 4 percent since last week. We'll keep a close eye on it, and what may be the beginning of a positive change in the Easton market. 

The 84  homes that are on the market have been available an average of 118 days and are listed at an average price of $815,894. The median price in Easton is now $659,900. The highest available listed home price is $2,000,000 and the lowest price is $278,800.

 Five new listings came on the market this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit. Four properties had a price change. Three properties have gone under the initial deposit stage, and four homes went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied).

TOWNWIDE PENDINGS: There are six properties scheduled to close, and their average price is $644,650.

CLOSINGS: No properties were reported as sold this past week. There were 25 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price of the ten homes available is $2,300 per month. These homes are listed at an average price of $2,885 per month, and have been on the market approximately 80 days.
