Easton CT Real Estate Market Report Week of August 27, 2012

EASTON CT HOMES: There are now 97 actively listed homes on the market. These homes have been  available an average of 122 days, and a *cumulative market time of 216 days. These properties are listed at an average price of $827,363, and the median price in Easton is currently $738,000. The highest available listed home price is $3,100,000 and the lowest price is $285,000.

Three new listings came on the market this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit. Five properties had a price change. Two properties have gone under the initial deposit stage, (which we call CTS) and one home went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied).  That home was listed at $705,000.

TOWNWIDE DEPOSITS: There are six properties in CTS status, and six properties in pending status that are scheduled to close. Their average list price is $756,917.

CLOSINGS: two properties were reported as sold this past week, and were listed on average  at $618,950.  There were 15 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the average median price of the nine homes available is $3,100 per month. These homes are listed at an average price of $3,083 per month, and have been on the market approximately 79 days.

*Cumulative market time indicates the TOTAL  market time when a home has been listed more than once in short succession.
