Easton CT - Weekly Real Estate Market Statistics Report - September 20, 2011

EASTON CT HOMES: As of this morning, there are  95 homes actively on the market for 117 days and are listed at an average price of $846,739. The median price in Easton has dipped about 3 percent since last week, and is now $669,450. The highest available listed home price is $2,398,000 and the lowest price is $294,900.

SINGLE FAMILY HOME INVENTORY based upon the current absorption rate: 14.53 months, and is up ever so slightly from last week of 14.25. The goal for a neutral market in Easton is about eight months.

Two new listings came on the market  this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit, and six properties had a price change. No properties have  gone under the initial deposit stage, and four homes went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied). Their average market time was 132 days. CLOSINGS: One property was reported as sold this past week, was listed at $389,000, and was on the market for 54 days before it sold. There were 19 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price is $2,375 per month. There are 11 homes or apartments available, and they are listed at an average price of $3,100 per month, and have been on the market approximately 72 days.
